Focus: Monuments, decolonization
For this practice, the focus was on uncomfortable monuments in Rotterdam.
The theory part was good. We watched for example Gloria Wekker - Never be Indifferent. For both practices, we read Decolonisation as Care. There were two guest lectures and those were really interesting. The making part I thought was lacking a bit.

Three days into this practice and I knew this would be the one. I have been searching to put my love for nature and agriculture into the arts. We discussed topics as Neo-Darwinism through Lynn Margulis, degrowth, and the Anthropocene. I do need to find a way to incorporate art into this practice because it can be very design-based.

I choose this practice for year 3 because it stands closest to my past and my future.
